Chateau’s Country Cassanova [Imp. NZ]DOB: 3.10.04 Height. 30.5" Sire: Country Music Spade Cooley [Imp. USA] 31" Dam: Country Music Billy Jo Spears [Imp. USA] Cassanova is small, solid and produces lovely foals of all colours including chestnut, broken coloured, blacks and chocolates. He often passes on his black nose and dark points (NLP) and produces foals with a star on their forehead. Many of his jenny foals have been retained in our herd because he tends to reduce the size and improve the quality of his off-spring - the mark of a truly great herd sire. His sons JOY's Rock of Jasper out of Taranganba Honey and Mexican Bandito out of Taranganba Montana are currently herd sires at studs in Victoria and Western Australia. Many thanks to Jack & Maise Hurst, NZ for allowing me to purchase this wonderful herd sire at his birth in 2004. |

GM Conrad’s In Black and White [Imp. USA]DOB: 2.05.07 Ht. 33" Sire: Fisher’s Rastus [imp USA] black NLP 32.5" Dam: Fisher's Emestine's Vonia [imp USA] dark brown and white spotted 32.5" When I first saw In Black n White as a weanling I just had to buy him - I had him inspected in the USA and once he got the conformation all clear I imported him. His first foals born in 2010 did not disapoint. From 9 solid Jennies, we had 7 broken coloured foals, some with the most unusual markings I have ever seen. This Jack passes on his a distinctive look, small size, and sound conformation to each foal he sires. Who could ask for more? Thanks to Bill Fisher for breeding true to his goal for so many decades resulting in this unique jack and thanks to Gary at Conrad Stock Farm for selling him to me. |

JOY's FlashBlack [imported USA in utero]DOB: 25 April 2009 Height: 32.5" Sire: Circle C Valentino in Black [USA] Dam: Dog Wood Hills Flashdance [Imp. USA]
Flashblack was imported in utero and was everything I had hoped for in terms of conformation, size and personality. Our intention is to breed FlashBlack to jennies whose conformation can be complimented by his conformation, in particular he has a fantastic rump! We have bred him to a small number of jennies in 2011 and look forward to seeing what traits he will pass on. Thanks to Ron Jarvis at Dogwood Hills for this little guy and his dam Flashdance who we imported in 2008. |
