Taranganba Heaven32" Grey Dun DOB: 28.03.01 Sire: Asspirin Acres Lil Bit of Magic [Imp. USA] Dam: Ass pirin Acres Happy [Imp. USA]
Heaven is a Super Star in our stud - not only producing 2 outstanding spotted foals to Chateau's Little Remus - JOY's Little Stevie and JOY's Star of Hope - but also becoming a Champion in both in-hand and performance classes. Heaven makes everything look easy - snigging, obstacles, standing jump - you name it! I have let her down by not practicing enough in harness, but one day soon, (my youngest is now 3), I will find the time and I can't wait. Angel's show record includes: 2004 Royal Canberra Show 1st Miniature 3 and over Prettiest face, Champion Miniature 2006 Royal Canberra Show 2nd Brood Jenny |
Chateau's Millenium Special Angel [Imp. NZ]Reg ADMS 29386 / DABSA AM/12/00 33" Grey & White. Spotted DOB 18.10.2000 Sire: Lil' Half Pints Lil Caesar II 27.5" [Imp. USA] Dam: Boone's Little Special 32"
Angel is another Founding Jenny at JOY Miniature Donkey Stud. She was the first AMMD we imported into Australia in 2001 as a weanling, and the first spotted AMMD in the country I believe. I had ordered her before she was born, and the wait seemed endless. Imagine how thrilled I was to pick her up at Sydney airport where together with all the thoroughbreds she was waiting for me in a huge crate. You couldn't even see her in as it was full racehorse size. Angel has always been an absolute pleasure, having won conformation ribbons at the Canberra Show, and giving us stunning foals - JOY's Little Beau Jangles, JOY's Lady Penelope, JOY's Kiss of Karina, JOY's Princess Grace, and JOY's Lt Ahuru. Angel is very friendly, if a tad wilful - some would say she ain't no Angel - but she will always be our Angel and is a great favourite with my children. (Special thanks to Maisie and Jack Hurst for selling her to me almost a decade ago!). |
