Penny is worth her weight in gold, having recently taken on the job of foster mother to JOY's Monte Carlo after the sudden death of his lovely dam Taranganba Maisie when he was just 6 weeks old.
The photo shows Penny patiently nursing her own Jenny foal Lil Precious (on the left) at the same time as her foster son Monte Carlo (on the right).
Penny taking on this little guy was the only good thing to come from the horrible day that we lost Maisie.
